CARE TIPS

Advice to keep you looking amazing!

Hair Tips

  1. Wash oily hair more frequently. How often you wash your hair should be based on how much oil your scalp produces.

  2. Concentrate shampoo on the scalp. When washing your hair, concentrate on cleaning primarily the scalp, rather than washing the entire length of hair.

  3. Use conditioner after every shampoo unless you use a “2-in-1” shampoo, which cleans and conditions hair.

  4. Concentrate conditioner on the tips of the hair. Because conditioners can make fine hair look limp, they only should be used on the tips of the hair and not on the scalp or length of the hair.

  5. Choose a shampoo and conditioner formulated specifically for your hair type.

Skin Care

First, determine your skin type.

  • Sensitive skin may sting or burn after product use

  • Normal skin is clear and not sensitive

  • Dry skin is flaky, itchy or rough

  • Oily skin is shiny and greasy

  1. Wear sunscreen daily. For the best protection, apply a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to all skin not covered by clothing.

  2. Stay out of tanning beds. Like the sun, tanning beds emit harmful UV radiation that causes skin cancer.

  3. Simplify your skincare routine. Less is more when it comes to skincare. Using too many products, especially multiple anti-ageing products, can irritate your skin.

  4. Choose skin care products formulated for your skin type.

  5. Keep your hands off your face. You transfer dirt, germs, and oil from your hands to your face whenever you touch your face.

Hair Removal

Pre-Hair Removal

  • Allow the hair to grow. Your hair should be roughly 0.5 cm long before waxing.

  • Exfoliate your skin. Gently exfoliate your skin with a body scrub and mitt 48 hours before your appointment.

Aftercare

  • Calm your skin. Depending on what suits your body, you can apply aloe vera gel or any other nourishing moisturizer.

  • Play it cool. After waxing, your skin may feel overly sensitive. We recommend having cool showers.

  • Places to Avoid. We recommend that you avoid gyms, saunas and steam rooms for at least 48 hours after your waxing treatment.
